Cyber Safety Project

At Keilor Heights Primary School, we are committed to helping students become safe, responsible and confident users of technology. Through the Cyber Safety Project, students participate in explicit lessons that teach essential online safety, digital citizenship and digital wellbeing skills. These lessons are designed by educators and provide age-appropriate learning experiences that help students make smart and respectful choices in an increasingly digital world.

Students learn how to protect their personal information, communicate respectfully online, recognise and respond to unsafe situations, develop healthy digital habits, and use technology responsibly. The program also builds students' understanding of emerging technologies and encourages them to think critically about their online actions and their impact on others.

By embedding cyber safety education across the school, we ensure our students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate the online world safely while demonstrating the values of Respect, Aspire, Responsibility and Resilience both online and offline.
