Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

At Keilor Heights Primary School, RRRR is taught explicitly to support inclusion and respect. This DET mandated content helps students build social and emotional skills and develop respectful relationships.

Teaching these skills improves wellbeing and reduces behaviours like bullying and gender-based violence. It also supports students to understand positive gender roles and respectful relationships.
The materials cover eight topics of social and emotional learning:

• emotional literacy
• personal and cultural strengths
• positive coping
• problem-solving
• stress management
• help-seeking
• gender norms and stereotypes
• positive gender relations.
